Following allegations of sexual assault, Echo has decided to remove Rich Campbell from the RWF casting team.
Following sexual assault allegations, Rich Campbell has been disassociated from his position as casting talent for the Race to World First stream on Twitch.
On the 16th of December, OTK co-founder Rich Campbell was publicly accused of sexual assault.
Azalia Lexi, a well-known Twitch streamer, recently published a lengthy tweet thread detailing her tumultuous four-year relationship with Campbell and making the allegation that he had assaulted her in January 2022.
Shortly after, Rich announced that OTK, the organization he co-founded, had asked for his resignation, and he accepted while he “collects his thoughts.”
After several hours, Echo declared that Rich would be taken off the casting desk of the Race to World First World of Warcraft event.
In a statement posted to Twitter, they said: “Recent allegations have come to light regarding one of our guest appearances, Rich Campbell.
“Moving forward, he will not be a part of our casting team for our Race to World First Event.”
Echo, OTK and Rich have remained mum on the subject thus far; however, we can anticipate updates in the following days.
