Despite her switch to YouTube Gaming in September, Fuslie has found that money is still coming through from Twitch- and she’s not sure how.
After almost a decade on Twitch, the world-renowned 100 Thieves star creator Fuslie announced her exclusive partnership with YouTube gaming on September 6th, 2022.
In 2022, she became one of the last distinguished creators to migrate platforms, joining other well-known names like TimTheTatman, LilyPichu and Sykkuno.
On December 15, Fuslie announced her surprise and relief that she’s still receiving a Twitch payout even without any viable way to monetize the platform.
Fuslie reveals she’s still making money from Twitch
During a stream with Valkyrae, Fuslie disclosed that she had earned payment from Twitch.
“I’m still getting a Twitch payout, let’s go,” Fuslie said. “I don’t know, I got an email. ‘Twitch payout processed successfully.’”
Valkyrae, Kkatamina, and the rest of their party were dumbfounded that Fuslie was receiving compensation too.
It remains undetermined from which sources Fuslie is receiving her money, as it could be a combination of various options.
On the 28th of September, Ninja uncovered that Twitch was still enabling his subscribers to remain on their platform without him being a partner or affiliate. This meant he had no prospective way to gain any form of income from them.
The company remedied the issue rapidly by providing refunds to those who had been incorrectly charged. It is plausible that this phenomenon may be occurring with Fuslie and her network, however, we will not know for sure unless she speaks up about it herself.
