Twitch has announced Twitch Unity Guilds to empower historically underserved streamers with a space to connect and grow.
Twitch recently announced Twitch Unity Guilds, A new pilot program to be released in 2023. The program will empower historically underserved streamers with a space to connect and grow together.
In 2023, Twitch is rolling out three “Unity Guilds” for Black, Women, and Latinx/Hispanic Partners in the US and Canada.
Twitch will look to add more countries and communities in the future.
The Twitch Unity Guilds program provides support in the form of funding, branding and networking through a Discord space. By joining forces with members to host events and activities throughout the year, Guild leaders will have access to workshops, recognition opportunities, and marketing exposure.
Twitch is searching for passionate leaders from the community (two representatives per guild) to serve for one year. This job will be an incredible chance to develop a meaningful Guild, design a vibrant space that serves as a hub for members and carry out programs dedicated to enhancing the experience of Guild users —all with funding assistance! Sign up now and become part of this revolutionary movement that aims to bring Twitch Unit Guilds into existence!
Applications are now open for Twitch Partners in good standing who identify as Black, Latinx/Hispanic or Female to apply for the Guild Leader role through January 6th 2023.
